About Kim

“Ms. Lowry helped me get through one of the most difficult situations in my life. Her professional advice and guidance aided me through a difficult custody dispute over my daughter. She was always upfront and gave me her honest opinion no matter what we discussed. I am very happy with the services she provided and the out come of the judgment I received.”

Kimberly (Kim) Lowry grew up in Bolivar Missouri and has been practicing law for over 32 years.  Kim represents clients in family law matters including divorces, modifications, adoptions, custody, and paternity actions.  She helps families with minor guardianships and grandparents’ rights actions, and frequently represents children as a court-appointed guardian ad litem.  Kim understands the emotional and mental health issues that affect adults and children as they negotiate the difficult family law legal system.  She is a strong advocate for her clients and provides advice and knowledge to her clients to help them achieve the best results possible.  Kim understands that decisions made during this process will affect children and their parents now and in the future.

Kim graduated from Drury College in 1985, received her law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in December 1987, and was licensed to practice in Missouri in May 1998.  She clerked for the Honorable James K. Prewitt, Missouri Court of Appeals - Southern District and went on to work in the Missouri Public Defenders Office.  While she chose to focus her practice on family law, her time with the Public Defenders’ Office enabled her to establish her impeccable reputation before the judiciary in Greene County.  That reputation continues today.
